Ice cube machine in 2nd floor was out of service. Breakfast was not enough. It takes quite a lot of time to check in.

Don’t walk, run away from this hotel! This hotel is nothing like the pictures they portray it to be. My first room was so dirty. The couch had stains, the wash cloths had stains as well as blood drops on the sheets. I tried to call out and the phone was not working therefore I had to go downstairs to get the room changed. There was another young lady waiting with the same issue. That took roughly around 40 mins being that there was only one person working. They had no extra blankets in the room and the guy at the front said they did not have any in the back as well. The second room wasn’t much better my 2 year old picked up a piece of opened nasty candy from under the bed. The tub/shower was disgusting. The tub had hair in it and you could just look at tell it was nasty. I did not even feel comfortable to shower in there. I left first thing in the morning and went to a friends hotel across the street to shower. I spoke with the manager Janae who was no help and did not call me back I had to keep calling her. Please save yourself the headache and stay somewhere else. There is also a TikTok about another guest who stayed there, go check it out! Sure wish I would have seen that before wasting my money and staying here.

Front desk staff could have more personality and be friendly. Didnt know housekeeping wasnt daily. Didnt know check out time Would be nice if comp coffee and tea would be available since cafe is closed i belive for renovation. The water in the lobby is nice touch. The restaurant area looks very nice as does the courtyard but we didnt utilize either. Room was very clean but walls are paper thin and window badly insulated. Could constantly hear loud traffic and cars speed racing in the middle of the night as well as persons next door cell phone ringer. Convenient location to UMD

We arrived at the reception at 3pm. Check-in was from 4pm. I understand that we are an hour early. The receptionist told me that if we want to check in early, they would charge us $20/hour. It doesn't say the information anywhere on their website. Complete surprise. We decided to wait in the lobby till 4pm. In the meantime, the receptionist was chatting with his friend. I walked up 3:58 to check-in again. He went," Yes, you can check-in in 2 minutes". Seriously? I canceled all of my future Sonesta reservations.

Why is early checkin 20 per hour you either have room available or you don’t and we asked the clerk if he can waive and he kept saying do you want me to lose my job -what the heck I will never stay at another Sonesta

Lage ist gut. Hotel ist klasse. Pool war im September noch offen. Zimmer und klima gut. Personal kommt mircsehr verwirrt vor. Frühstück wenig Auswahl und völlig überfordertes Personal. Würde es aber wieder buchen. Nach Washington ca 40min mit dem Auto.
